History

Let Us Dream began with a simple yet powerful idea: those who dream for others can create lasting change. In Monroe, Louisiana, everyday stories of hope reignited Fr. Lijo Thomas's vision during a tough phase with the DREAMS project.

The first Let Us Dream Conference launched on October 21, 2017, at Louisiana Tech University with under 100 participants and 15 service organizations. By 2019, the model expanded globally to Binghamton University, Christ University, and Trivandrum.

The 2023 Triennial Conference at Christ University marked our return to in-person gatherings, featuring global panels, student voices, and NGO showcases.
